What is PHSPS's philosophy?

An integrated school offers multi-media classroom guidance, research-based Study Material, Question Bank, Doubt-Clearing classes, and performance analysis- a MUST for success in today’s competitive environment.
Students do not need any external tuition as the school curriculum covers the competitive exam syllabus.

What is integrated school? Why is it mandatory?

In today’s changing environment students are spending more time beyond school hours, trying to keep abreast the latest competitive hurdles and tools. The stress of going to Two institutions, the School and the Coaching Centre, has led to the relevance of Integrated School Programme.
In an Integrated school the entire teaching and preparation takes place in the school and that too within the school timings. These schools are mostly located in North and South India. The results of JEE in 2013, 2014 and 2015 showed that more than 50% of Top Rankers are from schools that conduct Integrated School Programme.

What is the difference between any Conventional School and an Integrated School?

The focus of conventional schools is exclusively on preparation for Board Exams whereas an Integrated School focuses on Boards as well as Competitive Exams like JEE (Main & Advanced), NEET-UG, and WBJEE. In Integrated pattern, a student gets ample time for doubt clearing and self-study.

Is it possible to cope with Boards and Competitive preparations at a time?

The syllabus of the H.S. Board is mostly the same as NCERT, which is very similar to the syllabus of any competitive examinations. If students concentrate on the concepts and basics, it is definitely possible to crack the competitive examinations along with a good result in Board.

Do I need private tuition?

The key to achieving good results in HS and competitive exams is Self-study. The less number of private tuitions, the more one gets time for self-study. This is where Integrated schools play their role by providing all-inclusive support under one roof.

What will happen, if I have doubts after the classes?

Students who do in-depth studying are bound to have doubts and queries. Our faculty members sit with students from Monday to Thursday after school hours (5 p.m to 6 p.m) to clear all doubts, subject-wise and topic-wise.

Is there adequate laboratory facilities?

We have spacious State-of-the-Art Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer laboratories. Please refer to the Gallery section for glimpses of our Laboratories.

Will I get enough support for revision classes, if required?

We at PHSPS, use the latest technology to offer Digital revision classes to our students. The students are provided Digital Tabs, Which help them to go back for any revision class at their own convenience.

Does the School provide Academic Counseling / Motivational Classes?

The School conducts Academic counseling sessions from time to time where eminent academicians and profesionals guide students on academic goals and career prospects.

As a student of Bengali Medium, can I cope with English Medium environment?

A large number of students join our school every year from different districts and boards. We have seen that Bengali Medium students can do very well if proper guidance is given to them. We organize communicative English classes to these students to overcome their fear of English. This helps them to cope up with their studies very well.

Does the School have hostel facilities?

All the Schools have healthy and homely Hostels separately for Boys and Girls. The security of the Hostels is given utmost importance along with cleanliness. Strict quality control ensures that students get healthy and nutritious food at the Hostels. Moreover, we have Medical support for the students of Hostels.

What are the subject combinations available in the school?

Languages: Bengali A / English A / Hindi A; English B / Alternative English

Other Subjects: Physics; Chemistry; Mathematics or Modern Computer Application; Biology or Computer Science or Statistics

What are the evaluation facilities available in the School?

Apart from the regular Unit, Half-Yearly and Annual Tests for Board, the students get round-the-year tests for competitive exams. The student can take the tests both offline and online at their own convenience.

Can students get reference books for their studies?

All our Schools have quality Libraries and students can get access to all reference books through them. They can also use the library for self-study during break hours.

When will the admission procedure start?

For the session 2024-2025, the admission procedure starts from 5th November 2023.

If I am from other board can I take admission here?

Yes you can. In that case MIGRATION CERTIFICATE will be required.
